Speaking

SRJC has long held a special place in my heart. It’s where I began my career in higher education and where I served the college community for more than eight years, working closely with the Board and administrative leadership, most recently as a member of the President’s Executive Cabinet in my capacity as the Director of Strategic Communications, Government & Public Relations. In my current role at the University of California, I am proud to meet transfer students who are succeeding because of the strong educational foundation they received at SRJC.

As a longtime resident, I understand the unique educational needs of Northern Sonoma County, as well as the challenges facing SRJC including cost-of-living issues, the need to grow enrollment, and budgetary matters that lie ahead. If elected, I am committed to meeting these challenges while growing accessibility for local students, supporting agricultural education, increasing affordable educational access, and ensuring availability of student supports that help SRJC students reach their goals.

Please join SRJC Board President Ezrah Chaaban and outgoing District 6 Trustee Terry Lindley, along with students, teachers, employees, and alumni in supporting my candidacy and the future of SRJC.

I respectfully ask for your vote. Thank you.
